Sticka - Issue 2 (Book)
Welcome to Issue 2 of Sticka, our first publication. Sticka means to knit in Swedish, and is the basis of our book. So many of our customers over the years have shown a keen interest into our farming of fibre that we thought we would let you all know a little more about farming for fibre. The processes and stories behind our yarn are detailed in the book. Sticka 2 features an interview with the super talented Marie Wallin. Marie has designed two fabulous patterns with our British Gotland yarn this year and talks about her plans for the future.
Patterns from top crochet designer, Amanda Perkins. The Belladonna shawl uses her fantastic eye for colour to make a truly inspired scarf
Heike Gitten aka @madewithloops has designed a cosy contemporary shrug inspired by the wonderful Outlander series. Utilising British Hampshire Chunky yarn. Ideal to wrap up warm with this winter
Along with a great mittens patterns from the lovely Jane Lithgow, fairisle hat patterns and a large garter stitch aran shawl from yours truly.
To top it off we have a delicious recipe of plum tart and a felting project for the holidays.
