I met Astrid Teuting at Edinburgh Yarn Festival in 2018, and was overwhelmed by her clever and fun use of colour. Astrid went on to design this fabulous yoke jumper with our Hampshire 4ply yarn. We are now pleased to offer kits for the jumper.

'Knitting has been one of my favourite hobbies since my primary school time.
In 2013 my passion became a complete new dimension.
I discovered the Fair Isle technique on Ravelry.
Totally fascinated by the many colours and patterns and the associated options, I soon started to design my own models.
This joy inspires me to again other new designs.
To share my passion with other knitting enthusiasts, my goal is to write instructions that are easy to understand and are knitable.' Astrid Teuting

 

Please note all kits will be shipped after the 22nd October as we eagerly await our new seasons yarn back from the mill. Each kit will be hand dyed for you.

 Needles 

80cm circular knitting needle and needles for the sleeves, size 3,5mm / US 4 - colourwork (Yoke) 

size 3,0 mm / US 2 ½ - plain sts (body & sleeves) 

or sizes to achieve given gauge 

 

 Gauge (10cmx10cm) 

28sts x 32rnds - stranded colourwork (Yoke) 24sts x 38rnds - plain sts (body & sleeves) (i.e. knit swatch in the round in order to get accurate gauge)

  • This kit contains all the yarn needed to make the Emma Yoke jumper in Hampshire 4ply by The Little Grey Sheep.

  • Hand Wash 15°C, Cool Iron, Do Not Bleach, Do Not Tumble Dry, Dry Flat

  • We despatch all orders as soon as is practically possible. This can be a couple of days due to our commitment to put our sheeps welfare first. if placed before 2pm.

    30 day no-quibble RETURNS as long as the yarn is returned in the same condition as it was sent.

  • Payment for products and delivery services can be made in GBP or the local currency that is offered to the country to which your order is being delivered. All prices shown on the website for both products and delivery services are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT. The total price you pay us for products, or The Little Grey Sheep for the delivery, is always the same, regardless of whether or not UK VAT is chargeable on the sale.

    Where you've requested delivery to an EU address, the price paid for the product and the delivery service will usually include VAT at the appropriate rate for the country of delivery. .

    Where you've ordered products for delivery to a non-EU address, both the products and the delivery service will normally be zero-rated, with no UK VAT chargeable on either. However, the price paid by you for the products and delivery services will remain the same as shown on the website.

    Because of this we have adjusted our international shipping rates on orders for delivery outside the EU.

    In these situations, you may prefer to place your order by emailing us directly and receiving a Paypal invoice. However, please note that shipping costs charged by this service will be higher than the cost of the delivery service offered via the website.
