100g of fantastic Stein Fine Wool® Tops.

British Yarn from our own small family farm on the Surrey Hampshire borders.

We have developed our own range of fine 100% wool yarns, from our pedigree fine wool flocks of Gotland, and Stein Fine Wool®. For over 10 years we have been intent on breeding the softest fibre with a lustrous quality, Stein Fine Wool® is a super soft fibre, with a beautiful handle. Our rams fleece has been tested as 19 micron akin to Extra Fine Merino so you can be assured of a next to the skin softness.

Raised on conservation meadows, and shorn by Susie at Christmas for the best quality fibre.The girls are then tucked up in deep straw, made during the summer on the farm, to keep them toasty and warm. Washed in Yorkshire and spun in a traditional mill in Devon, the yarn then comes back to the farm for hand dyeing dyeing.
