Colourwork Workshop

Have you always wanted to learn or improve your colour work skills? Working on our new Kaleidoscope mittens you will learn several new techniques for carrying your yarns,  and ideas on colour combinations.
Come and join us on the family farm, set within 300 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside. The day will be held in the newly built, spinning mill barn. A fun and informative day of learning hosted by Emma Boyles Founder of The Little Grey Sheep
Included in the price is  a copy of Emma's book Sticka, The Tithe Collection, all the yarn necessary to complete the Kaleidoscope  mittens, a delicious lunch, utilising some of the best local ingredients and lashings of tea and coffee. Of course there will also be plenty of homemade cake and a walk to see the sheep, weather permitting.
There will also be an opportunity to try on other garments from the collection, and talk to Emma about the inspiration behind her colour palette.
Places will be strictly limited.
Well Manor farm dates from the mid 1500s but the farm and harrow way on which it sits have been farmed since the iron age. The  pilgrims way from Cornwall to the Dover Estuary dissects the farm which is steeped in history. Emma and Neil continue to rebuild the biodiversity which was lost over many years of intensive agriculture, farming ethically to produce fantastic quality yarns, and encourage the native flora and fauna back to their small holding.
